Your Special Wedding Music

*40 years experience in professional entertainment

*37 years teaching private voice instruction

The music chosen for the ceremony and reception can either make or break the wedding! A music coordinator must have the capability to create a flow of music including all the desired music choices of the Bride and Groom, doing away with "dead time" during the ceremony and creating a festive atmosphere during the reception. This requires experience and expertise. A ceremony is beautiful with one song or ten if they have been planned well.

No wedding is too small or too hurried.  Whether you have months to plan, or suddenly the ceremony is only hours away, be sure to have a plan!

Wedding Director

Choosing a Wedding Director can be a daunting task!  Every bride dreams of a wonderfully designed wedding ceremony which will include all her sweetest imaginations of what that special day should be.  You will need someone to help you design a ceremony of your personal dreams balanced with family traditions, religious requirements and wedding etiquette, all uniquely put together to create a wedding that is truly "YOU!"

Your wedding rehearsal and ceremony should be a very enjoyable time for all involved.  A wedding director should be able to put everyone at ease while being sure each member of the wedding party knows exactly what to do.  This is a very important time, not only for the Bride, but for two entire families.

The person you choose as Wedding Coordinator to direct these events must be very knowledgeable of wedding procedures, but even more importantly be able to execute that knowledge with kindness and compassion.

Allen Hall Rental Fee is $500 per day.
9:00 am to 9:00 pm. No Clean up.
We provide Coffee, Tea and Water.
We do not provide any Food.
Many extras are available for events (for an extra fee),
including China, Crystal, Linens,
Entertainment, Recording, Director,
Sound Tech, and much more.

Dear Rita,

Words cannot express our thanks to you for your help and assistance with Kim and Blake's wedding.  Not only did you give us your knowledge, ideas and guidance, but we felt like you really cared about us, our families, our friends, and most of all, our feelings.

The wedding was perfiect!  Everyone commented about how beautiful, elegant and organized the ceremony was - and it could not have been so without your help.  You took 50 people who knew very little about weddings and brought it all together beautifully.

It was so relaxing to know that on the rehearsal night and Wedding Day, you would be there with us, to hold our hands and guide us through this stressful, but joyful occasion.

Your professionalism was superior!  I have told many people that hiring "Rita Allen" as our wedding coordinator was the smartest thing we did for our wedding.  We have been to many weddings that were unorganized, embarrassing and funny, just becuase they didn't have a coordinator like you!

Again, I thank you, along with Kim and Blake, for your help in making this a lovely, memorable wedding.  And I also thank God for sending you to us!  We will tell everyone we know about your valuable help and we will always remember the important, special part you played in our wedding!

Sincerely and with a grateful heart,

Susan McMurray, Owner, Realty Plus, Inc., Rainbow City

As told by Teddy Lenderman.....
"I was brought in to make the long-awaited day a reality.  The mother of the bride and the bride had done most of the legwork and brought me in during the last month to pull things together.  On the big day, the bride and bridesmaids were busy getting dressed when the mother came up to me outside the dressing room.  She had the panicked look on her face that I have now come to know and understand.  She said, 'Okay, now what?'  I explained that everything was running on time and smoothly (so I thought at the time), and she should go back into the dressing room and savor this time with her daughter.  With a huge sigh of relief, she returned to the dressing room, thrilled that she didn't have to perform any other task at that moment.

Meanwhile, back in the church lobby, I discovered the florist had forgotten all three grandmothers' coursages, so I called the florist to have them delivered.  Then, the trumpet player called the church and informed me that he'd had too much to drink at the rehearsal dinner and couldn't play for the wedding.  I immediately inquired whether he needed help dressing and driving to the church or if he could manage that himself.  He was so taken back that I didn't excuse him that he muttered something about not needing any help.  He showed up a little green but played a fine trumpet, and that's all I cared about.  And the flower girl (ah, children in weddings!...) caught the flounce of her dress on a nail and ripped off the entire thing, except for four inches.  I.....found out how handy a stapler could be.  I was able to stapel the dress and flounce together and no one was the wiser.  Neither the mother, nor the bride, nor anyone in the family knew a thing about all this turmoil taking place just an hour before the wedding.

It just so happened that this particular mother of the bride was a writer for the local paper.  Two weeks after the wedding, the mother's column, entitled, "The Wedding Day," appeared in the paper.  It was about being in that dressing room helping her daughter prepare for her wedding and remembering bringing her home from the hospital, the tomboy stages, going off on her first date, the proms-all those wonderful things that mothers and fathers store away in their memory banks.  Hiring a bridal consultant to attend to all the last minute crises and details gave that mother and daughter time together at a very special moment in their lives.  Had the mother been out arguing with the florist and the tumpeter or trying to coax a four-year-old into holding still long enough to have her dress stapled, she would have missed that time with her daughter!
