Young people love to play the bells! They have no reservations about swinging their arms to hear the peel of
the bell ringing in harmony with others. This bell choir will begin teaching the bells by using colors rather than using
notes. As the students learn notes, they will progress to playing by note. The composition of this choir
allows any student to participate, no matter what their level of music ability. The only requirement is to be able
to distinguish colors. The video below is an example of a beginning young bell choir. The colored bells give the young
people a tremendous sense of accomplishment, especially for those who do not yet want to sing or play an instrutment.
